Catriona Walker, Fochabers, a former Elgin Academy pupil, graduated with a first class honours degree in management with human resource management from Aberdeen's Robert Gordon University. Catriona is now living and working in Aberdeen.
Alasdair Wishart, of 44 Beech Brae, Elgin, graduated BEng (hons) in automotive engineering from Edinburgh’s Heriot Watt University. Alistair, a former Elgin Academy pupil, is currently enjoying a gap year in China, where he is studying Mandarin.
Joni Wilson, 87 Milnefield Avenue, Elgin, a former Elgin High pupil, graduated from Edinburgh’s Napier Unviersity, BSc child heallth (intensive care) with distinction.
Nicola Watson, 110 St Michaels Road, Newtonhill, Stonehaven, a former Milne's High pupil, graduated from Grays School of Art, Aberdeen, with a first class honours Bachelors degree in design for digital media.
Tracey Willetts, 10 Pansport Place, Elgin, graduated BA (open) from the Open University. Tracey, a former Elgin Academy pupil, is the daughter of the late Harold Willetts and Dorothy Legge.
Simon Williamson from Elgin graduated BA (first class honours) in retail management from The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen. He achieved this despite having to undertake regular 130-mile round trips to the Garthdee campus from his home on a motorbike “older than most of his classmates!”

Fiona Webster, 49 Land Street, Rothes, graduated from Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University BSc (Hons) in biological sciences. Fiona, a former Speyside High School pupil, is now working in Aberdeen.
Gary Watkin, son of Deirdre (Bailies Drive, New Elgin) and Timothy (Dunnet) has graduated from Strathclyde University with First Class Honours in Architectural Studies. Gary will continue studying at Strathclyde University for a Masters Degree in Architecture.
