Hazel Adamson, Newton, a former Elgin Academy pupil, graduated from the University of Glasgow BDS (hons). Hazel is now working in a dental practice in Aviemore.

Ruth Cranston, 'Karunda', Fisher Place, Lossiemouth, graduated from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, MA (first class hons) management and marketing. Ruth, a former Lossiemouth High School pupil, was awarded the marketing prize and a Watt Club medal.

Stephanie Croy, Leslie Terrace, Craigellachie, a former Speyside High School pupil, graduated from Edinburgh University B.Ed physical education.

Barry Chambers, 5 Richmond Place, Fochabers, graduated from Edinburgh University, BEd (hons) physical education. Barry, a former pupil of Milne's High School, will start his teaching career at Websters High School, Kirriemuir.

Colin Comfort, Woodside, Elginshill, Elgin, graduated B.Eng (hons) from Strathclyde University. Colin, a former Elgin Academy pupil, is continuing his studies towards a diploma in advanced architectural design.

Nicky Cramb, 1 The Wards, Elgin, graduated from Aberdeen University MA (hons) French and German. Nicky, a former Elgin High School pupil, will start teacher training in Aberdeen next month.

Jamie Barron, 4 St Catherines Place, Elgin, graduated from the University of Edinburgh MA (hons) English literature with classics. Jamie is a former pupil of Elgin Academy.

David Black, 36 McIntosh Drive, Elgin, graduated MA (first class hons) politics and international relations from Aberdeen University. David, a former Elgin Academy pupil, is currently working in Aberdeen before undertaking postgraduate study.

Tricia Bonnar, 43 Pinewood Road, Mosstodloch, graduated BA (hons) primary education from Dundee University. Tricia, a former Milne's High School (Fochabers) pupil, will start a teaching post in Dundee in August.

Brenda Brown, 44 Golf View Crescent, New Elgin, graduated BSc (hons) health and social care from the Open University and is now working with Moray Council.

Chris Campbell, 55 Murrayfield, Fochabers, graduated from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland. Chris, a former pupil of Milne's High School, is now working in Elgin.

Gemma Black BA (Hons) has graduated from Moray House School of Education, Edinburgh University, with a post-graduate diploma in primary education. Gemma, who is a former pupil of Elgin Academy, is now teaching in Moray.

Lynsey Cameron, a former pupil of New Elgin Primary and The Gordon Schools, Huntly, has graduated from The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, BA adult nursing. Lynsey is now working at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.

Jackie Anderson, Richmond, 48 Moss Street, Elgin, graduated BSc (hons) in consumer marketing from Manchester Metropolitan University. Jackie, daughter of Jock Anderson and the late Maureen Ralph, Lossiemouth, is a former Lossiemouth High School pupil.

Peter Campbell, The Dreish, Sanquhar Road, Forres, a former Forres Academy pupil, graduated from Napier University, Edinburgh, BA (hons) business studies. Peter is now working as an analyst for an investment bank in Edinburgh.

Douglas Angus, 27 Duff Avenue, Elgin, a former Elgin Academy pupil, graduated from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, with a Masters degree in aero-mechanical engineering. Douglas is about to begin training with Rolls Royce.

Kirsty Boyle, daughter of Tony and Lesley, The Hillock, Dallas, graduated from Napier University, Edinburgh, BA (hons) journalism. Kirsty, a former pupil of Forres Academy, is currently the assistant media relations officer for The Scottish Parliament.

Leoni Black, daughter of John and Elaine, Lossiemouth, graduated from Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University, BA law and management. Leoni, who also received the McGrigor prize for best overall law and management student, will start the third year of a law degree in September.

Barbara Cairns, Troves, graduated from the University of Abertay, Dundee, MSc in counselling studies. Barbara is currently working as a community psychiatric nurse in Moray.

Siobhan Anderson, daughter of Bobby and Isla, 43 St Gerardine’s Road, Lossiemouth, graduated as a Bachelor of Adult Nursing from Aberdeen’s Robert Gordon University. Siobhan is a former Lossiemouth High School pupil.

Russell Barnett, 7 Hay Street, Elgin, graduated MSc in Medical Science from Aberdeen University. He will continue his studies in Canada in the spring.

Martin Cassidy, 20 Fairfield Avenue, Elgin, a former Elgin Academy pupil, graduated from Imperial College, London, BSc (hons) biochemistry. Martin is currently working in Beijing.

Emma Brown, 27 Castle Stree, Fochabers, former pupil of Milne's High School, graduated BSc (Hons) Geography from the University of Aberdeen. Emma, who was awarded the O'Dell Memorial prize, is going of to do a PGDE Secondary School Teaching course at Aberdeen University.
